Well, since I’ve had this domain for a couple years now and I hardly remember what the “DCM” stands for in the name, I thought it would be a good idea to get a shorter, more interesting name. One that also doesn’t limit me to only “software.”

Some of you may have already heard, but the new domain I have chosen is … drum roll … andonuts.net. Yep that’s right. Andonuts. Like “an” and “donuts.” Earthbound fans will recognize it right off, it comes from Dr. Andonuts, a character from Earthbound. He’s basically a goofy absentminded professor who turns out to be a key player in the game’s final chapters.

Along with the domain name change, I’ll also be redoing the site’s design. I’ll be making all the graphical elements this time around, though I will still be using Wordpress. Though whether or not I’ll start a new theme from scratch, modify an existing theme or use a style for K2 I haven’t decided yet. I have decided on a logo for the site though, take a look:

Snazzy, eh? I want to take a new direction with this site. I’d like to post up not only my programming work, but also the occasional logo, website design, or other graphic design piece. I could also have a section for my average photography skills. It will be a more personal website than this; a website about me and the crazy things I do. :p
